This clever fiction explores South African society’S cracks, through the intersecting histories of several characters, between black and white, men and women, rich and poor. An interracial lesbian couple coming to terms with an extramarital relationship, their adopted daughter in the midst of an identity crisis falling in love with an enigmatic tomboy who is a township resident, and lastly a teacher in search of her lover, a former activist part of the Freedom Fighters.
